Our Story

Hi friends!

I'm Jessica, owner of the Petal Pony Mobile Flower Bar. I’ve lived in Columbus, Indiana my entire life, and I’m so proud to be part of this amazing community. My husband, Brandon, and I have three beautiful girls, and he’s always been my biggest supporter, especially when it comes to encouraging my wild dreams. This time, that dream was to open a mobile flower bar, something that would bring joy to everyone we meet. After all, who doesn’t love looking at, smelling, and creating their own flower arrangement?

Brandon and I found a vintage 1977 horse trailer, rusted, worn, and far from pretty. My mother in law called it a “pony trailer,” and that sweet nickname helped inspire the name Petal Pony. With a lot of love and hard work, we transformed that old trailer into a charming mobile flower bar ready to spread joy and blooms all over town.

The Petal Pony offers build-your-own bouquets, premade arrangements, and event rentals. You can find us popping up at local markets and community events, so be sure to keep an eye out for us! We specialize in a wide variety of floral design styles and are committed to sourcing as many flowers and products locally as possible. Supporting other small businesses and practicing sustainable floristry are at the heart of what we do.
